Job Description

Print Production Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a position within the printing industry. This role involves performing printing and finishing operations at a client location to ensure highquality output that meets customer expectations. The selected candidate will collaborate with the production team maintain equipment and provide exceptional service to customers.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $19.
12month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Satisfy customer requirements for colour blackandwhite and largeformat printing services.
Operate and maintain finishing equipment including paper cutters inserters laminators and binding machines.
Set up and operate specialized finishing machines for brochures books business forms and other printed materials.
Perform quality control to ensure all jobs meet customer specifications.
Conduct maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Manage inventory supplies and equipment cleanliness to ensure operational efficiency.
Perform document preparation tasks including scanning print setup and proof checking.
Record meter readings process production forms and support monthend billing tasks.
Collaborate with the team in a professional and efficient manner to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

What you will need to succeed:

Postsecondary technology training or relevant experience.
3 years of experience in a print production environment.
Experience operating B&W and colour printers largeformat printing equipment and finishing/binding equipment.
Familiarity with FreeFlow and similar print production software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies or quality issues.
Math proficiency including percentages multiplication and division.
Proficient in PC applications within a networked environment.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
