Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our energy storage solutions in the North American market. This remote position requires 40% travel to meet clients and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background specifically in the energy storage or photovoltaic (solar) industry and will be responsible for managing project sales setting targets and executing market expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage project sales and provide guidance for project sales processes.
- Set sales targets propose expansion strategies and drive the implementation of these plans.
- Build and maintain customer profiles conduct sales forecasts and gather market intelligence.
- Promote and market energy storage solutions to prospective clients.
- Analyze and evaluate the North American energy storage market keeping up with industry trends.
- Organize internal training programs and support external technical exchanges.
- Manage the full sales cycle including business negotiation contract signing and payment collection.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the energy storage industry familiar with the top 10 energy storage integrators developers investors and electric companies (preferred).
- Alternatively strong sales experience in the photovoltaic (solar) industry as some clients may require energy storage solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop large clients from scratch (01 development experience).
- Strong skills in creating customer organization authority maps and understanding decisionmaking structures within client organizations.
- Excellent project management business negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to sign contracts and ensure timely payment collection.
- Strong crossdepartmental collaboration and market insight abilities.
- Familiarity with North American energy markets industry trends and competitor analysis.
- A track record of growing sales from the ground up.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to meet clients.
