Litigation Paralegal
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established plaintiff firm that has been in business for over 15 years.We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Paralegal with extensive experience in litigation to join our team. This role will focus primarily on supporting attorneys in all aspects of litigation within the employment law practice.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Will provide essential support in managing employment claims including but not limited to Medical/Disability Discrimination Wrongful Termination Sexual Harassment and Retaliation.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist attorneys in managing cases from prelitigation through settlement.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare caserelated documents including pleadings discovery responses and correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage document production including reviewing and organizing evidence for use in depositions trials and hearings.
- Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel experts and court personnel.
- Maintain and manage case files using advanced legal software including CompuLaw NetDocuments and Clio.
- Assist in trial preparation including creating trial binders and coordinating witness schedules.
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on employment litigation.
- Strong understanding of California labor and employment law including FEHA claims wage and hour disputes and labor code violations.
- Proven ability to handle highvolume caseloads with precision and efficiency.
- Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Advanced proficiency with legal technology and case management systems.
- Paralegal certification from an ABAapproved program is preferred.

- Salary/Compensation: $35 hr $50 hr
