Job Description
Our client is seeking a Junior Java Software Engineer to join their team on a fulltime basis supporting a U.S. Government customer. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical technical expertise assisting in the maintenance and advancement of missionfocused software and systems for a highimpact government contract.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in Front End or Full Stack development contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Develop applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS jQuery React or Vue.
- Build and maintain Java Web or NodeJS applications.
- Design and apply CSS for application interfaces.
- Create and integrate RESTful services to enhance application functionality.
Must Haves:
- Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Experience: Entrylevel with 0 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in a related field. Four years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
- Skills: Proficient in developing with JavaScript frameworks and Java or NodeJS; experience with CSS and RESTful services.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS jQuery React or Vue.
- Knowledge in developing RESTful services and integrating them with web applications.
- Familiarity with Java Web or NodeJS applications and CSS implementation.
Location: Annapolis Junction MD
Salary Range: $50000 $120000
