Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a fulltime position with opportunities for growth and development within our organization. Work/life balance no weekend or afterhours responsibilities are required!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in animals
Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed
Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
Communicate with clients and provide education on animal health and wellness
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Collaborate with other veterinarians and staff to provide the best possible care for patients
Stay current on advancements and changes in veterinary medicine
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Active state veterinary license
13 years of experience in a veterinary setting (new graduates will also be considered)
Strong surgical and medical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Passion for animal care and welfare
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
