Job Description
We are currently seeking a fulltime Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled veterinarian to join a dynamic and growing company.
Responsibilities:
Provide highquality medical care to a variety of animals including dogs cats and small exotic pets
Perform routine examinations vaccinations and surgeries
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
Develop treatment plans and communicate them to pet owners
Educate pet owners on preventive care and wellness strategies
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for patients
Stay uptodate on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and techniques
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and client experience
Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Current state veterinary license
13 years of experience in a veterinary practice (new graduates will also be considered)
Strong surgical and medical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Compassionate and empathetic towards animals and their owners
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
