At GeoGuessr we do more than create games. Since 2013 we have built a game that turns the world into a playground for the curious and knowledgehungry. During the last couple of years we have focused on building an incredible team now 65 people and craft new ways for our dedicated players to experience our fantastic geography games. GeoGuessr is widely played all around the world and have a large and dedicated community.
The role
We are looking for a Game Designer to work across our different teams. You love games and are passionate about making them fun and rewarding. Its natural for you to research collaborate with others and craft great experiences for different types of players.
You will work with different areas within our products such as Singleplayer and Multiplayer features for our Map games and Knowledge games on platforms including Browser iOS and Android.
The wide variety of tasks requires you to be able to be able to adapt to different types of situations creating the best possible features for those specific circumstances.
What we hope youll bring:
- 3 years of Game Design experience
- Ability to express and visualize ideas clearly
- Ability to create your own tasks from an overarching goal.
- Independent thinking and capacity to see a problem from different perspectives
Its extra nice if you bring:
- Mobile games experience
- PC games experience
- Game economy knowledge (F2P/Subscription)
- Meta features experience
