We are seeking a highly experienced Tight Gas Reservoir Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in tight gas reservoir management and a proven ability to provide strategic advice and implement bestinclass reservoir management programs. This role requires a deep understanding of gas/gascondensate reservoirs and the ability to contribute to the development of Kuwaits nonassociated gas assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and oversight on reservoir management practices and cuttingedge technologies for Kuwaits nonassociated gas assets.
- Develop reservoir development plans data acquisition strategies and monitoring frameworks for optimal reservoir performance.
- Utilize advanced reservoir management standards to maximize net present value and hydrocarbon recovery.
- Lead integrated field reviews and develop comprehensive field development plans.
- Contribute reservoir engineering expertise to drilling and workover proposals.
- Recommend and evaluate advanced completion techniques for horizontal and multilateral wells.
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies including stimulation modeling for improved oil recovery.
- Participate in technical societies and groups to stay at the forefront of industry developments.
- Mentor and train junior engineers to build a strong talent pipeline.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in petroleum engineering with at least 7 years specializing in gas/gascondensate and tight reservoir management.
- Extensive training in specialized courses and seminars related to reservoir engineering.
- Strong multidisciplinary expertise including geology petrophysics simulation drilling stimulation and production technologies.
- Proven handson experience with tight gas reservoir simulation reserves management hydraulic fracturing log evaluation and advanced completion techniques.
- A demonstrated history of contributing to petroleum and reservoir engineering knowledge through publications patents and mentoring.
- Familiarity with modern reservoir management practices for gas and gas condensate reservoirs.
