    Your Mission

    We are looking for a SeniorProduct Analyst. In this role you will support the General Manager and work closely with the crossfunctional product team to enable them to make better decisions faster. We have a strong culture of datadriven decisionmaking. And were great believers in powerful realtime analytics and empowerment of the wider business.

    The perfect fit for this role is someone whos practically a pro at diving into massive datasets churning out actionable insights setting product goals and metrics like its second nature and juggling multiple experiments like a champ all without breaking a sweat.

    What youll be doing

    • Analyse data to uncover actionable insights and inform product recommendations through funnels cohort analyses longterm trends user segmentation regression models and more.
    • Leverage your expertise in analytics data science and storytelling to gain insights beyond raw data and understand how our users interact with our products and how those insights can inform our product strategy.
    • Detect and resolve data anomalies pinpoint shifts in metric trends and ensure data integrity through rigorous analysis and systematic problemsolving.
    • Collaborate with the product team to define plan run and evaluate experiments including A/B and multivariate tests.
    • Partner with engineering to implement document validate and monitor our logging and metrics and ensure we collect the correct data to produce relevant insights.
    • Build practical selfserve tools and visualization dashboards to streamline analytics operations and speed decisionmaking.
    • Support data engineering by crafting simple reliable data pipelines and automated reporting for metric tracking.
    • Collaborate with product management to define outcomefocused product goals and an experimentdriven roadmap balancing effort impact and risk.
    • Strengthen our experimentation culture and promote best practices for datadriven decisionmaking at our app.

    What youll need to succeed

    • Youve extensive experience working as a product analyst and get excited about analyzing millions of rows of raw data to uncover insights (large and complex data is your thing).
    • You know your way around SQL such as Postgres and Standard SQL and can quickly jump into using statistical software such as Python and R.
    • Youre wellversed in behavioural analytics and believe in scientific methods like experimentation analytics including A/B testing and multivariate testing and when needed can lean on significance analysis nonparametric methods bootstrapping and causal inference. And yes you know the pros and cons of choosing a Bayesian statistical approach versus a frequentist approach.
    • You are an expert at turning data into insights and insights into stories that you present with ease (data visualization and storytelling are the ingredients).
    • Youre passionate about building great products for users but also deeply understand what makes the product succeed commercially.
    • Youre experienced in defining effective goals and product metrics and establishing KPIs that serve as reliable benchmarks for evaluating the success of every launch.
    • You can work and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and working styles to get stuff done and can thoughtfully and constructively challenge and influence the people you work with.

    Bonus points

    • If youve worked on online dating social discovery community or entertainment products but its not essential.
    • A degree in mathematics operations research statistics computer science or other related quantitative fields.
    • Experience working with BigQuery (big bonus!).
    • Experience with data products machine learningdriven products and recommendation algorithms.

    The interview process

    1. Initial call with the people team to understand your motivation (30 minutes).
    2. Technical interviewwith a DataEngineerto assess your technical skills including SQL(45 minutes).
    3. Hiring Manager interviewwith a focus on experimentation product metrics and leadership behaviours(1 hour).
    4. Meet theCEO(45 minutes).
