Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Community Engagement Specialist is a professional who works to build maintain and strengthen relationships between an organization and its community. Their primary role is to foster connections increase awareness of the organization s mission or services and facilitate active participation among community members.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to engage with the community through events social media newsletters and other channels that align with the marketing strategy.
Create compelling text image and video content for social media platforms including LinkedIn Meta TikTok Glassdoor Indeed and other relevant channels.
Respond to comments and reviews in a timely manner.
Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
Organize and coordinate community meetings workshops and events to promote collaboration and communication.
Collect feedback from the community to assess needs and measure the effectiveness of engagement efforts.
Tracks engagement metrics and shares weekly summaries.
Represent the communitys needs to the organization and ensure that programs or services are aligned with the communitys interests.
Coordinate with the Marketing Department to ensure brand consistency
Monitor Brand s health and reputation
Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication to convey messages effectively.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse groups.
Capable of managing multiple projects and events simultaneously.
Comfortable speaking to groups and representing the organization.
Understanding of the specific community s needs values and cultural nuances.
