Job Description
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing)
Location: Dammam Saudi Arabia
Contract Details: Full time
Experience in Data Center projects is mandatory.
. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dammam Saudi Arabia. This is a fulltime position that requires expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems with a strong focus on data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical engineering design and implementation for data center projects including HVAC and plumbing systems
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
Develop detailed mechanical engineering plans specifications and calculations
Oversee the work of junior engineers and technicians providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of design documents
Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings
Participate in meetings with clients contractors and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and resolve any issues that may arise
Keep uptodate with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering for data centers
Mentor and train junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering for data centers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems
Experience working on data center projects is mandatory
Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations related to mechanical engineering for data centers
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit and HVAC load calculation software
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
