Job Description
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (ELV Systems)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (ELV Systems) with the experience in the Data center projects to join the team fulltime.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for data center projects including power distribution lighting grounding and low voltage systems
Ensure compliance with local codes and standards as well as client specifications
Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineers to develop comprehensive design plans
Conduct site surveys and analyze existing systems to identify potential issues and improvements
Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress identify and resolve issues and ensure adherence to design plans
Keep uptodate with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering particularly in the data center sector
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on data center projects
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design including power distribution lighting grounding and low voltage systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
Familiarity with local codes and standards related to data centers
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings
