We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will play a crucial part in the development and execution of automated test strategies that ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to design and implement comprehensive test automation solutions using Java Selenium TestNG Cucumber and Karate. Your expertise in these tools will be essential in developing robust test cases that cover a wide range of functionality across our applications. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you will mentor junior team members and drive best practices in test automation contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. You will also be responsible for analyzing test results identifying defects and working closely with developers to resolve issues. Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using Java Selenium TestNG Cucumber and Karate.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test scripts for functional integration and regression testing.
- Analyze test results log defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in test automation best practices and methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve test automation processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation development using Java and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG Cucumber and Karate.
- Experience in working with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation into pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and design effective test strategies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail with a passion for quality assurance.
