About the Job:
We are seeking a detailoriented and trustworthy Sales Support Specialist to support our director in his insurance business and solar design work. The ideal candidate will assist with organizing insurancerelated tasks managing sensitive payment information securely and maintaining the client s schedule. As the role evolves you will also learn to create solar designs to support our growing needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work closely with a professional in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Work Schedule:
- 20 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 12PM 5PM Boston MA with 1 hour unpaid break.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing and managing insurancerelated tasks.
- Oversee and manage insurance policies ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle sensitive payment information securely and ensure compliance with privacy and security protocols.
- Communicate with clients regarding insurance needs and payments in a professional and timely manner.
- Learn and support the creation of solar designs following guidance and training.
- Maintain and organize design files and ensure project timelines are met.
- Manage and help organize the the company sales team schedule
- Provide support in organizing and prioritizing tasks to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and organize files for easy access and review.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and respond to emails or calls manage correspondence and relay information accurately.
Qualifications
- 3 years of proven experience in an administrative or sales support role
- Must have familiarity with insurance operations and payment processing
- Experience with insurance carriers (Singlepoint Rater Progressive Insurance Travelers Insurance Bristol West Insurance MPIUA / Fair Plan Plymouth Rock Safety Insurance etc.)
- Comfortable to make sales follow ups as needed
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other organizational tools.
- Willingness to learn new skills including solar design processes.
- Techsavvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools.
