Job Description We seek an accomplished Senior Oracle Functional Lead with extensive experience in Oracle Projects Costing Project Billing and Project Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering full lifecycle Oracle implementationsfrom initial discovery and requirements gathering through design build test deployment and postgolive support. In addition the candidate must demonstrate a strong command of Oracle Project Manufacturing functionalities including BOM WIP and Costing and a track record of collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams in complex manufacturing environments.
Experience in the aluminum industry or working with aluminum products (such as aluminum coils) is a significant advantage as it enables a better understanding of the nuances and complexities involved in specialized manufacturing processes.
A successful candidate for this role has a strong blend of handson functional expertise strategic insight and an unwavering commitment to successful project outcomes. Working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams you will ensure that solutions are robust scalable and fully aligned with both current and futurestate business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Must have EBS and Clouds experience both
Oracle Project Expertise: Serve as the primary SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Oracle Projects Costing and Billing guiding industry best practices and solution configurations.
Project Manufacturing Integration: Lead the design configuration and implementation of Oracle Project Manufacturing leveraging deep understanding of BOM WIP and Costing functionalities.
Full Lifecycle Implementation: Manage and execute all phases of the Oracle EBS/Cloud Projects lifecyclefrom initial discovery and requirements definition through detailed design build test golive and postimplementation support.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance operations procurement and other functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Projects modules with core ERP functionalities.
Requirements & Design: Conduct detailed requirements analysis create functional specifications and design endtoend processes that optimize efficiency and operational excellence.
Testing & Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies (CRPs SIT UAT) to validate functional solutions ensure quality and mitigate risk before golive.
User Enablement & Training: Provide handson support and training sessions to key users ensuring proper knowledge transfer documentation and adoption of new solutions and enhancements.
Ongoing Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance proactively identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices for ongoing stability and scalability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Finance Supply Chain Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
Extensive handson experience (10 years) implementing and supporting Oracle EBS/Cloud Projects Costing and Billing.
Proven track record delivering multiple full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Project Manufacturing including BOM WIP and Costing.
Manufacturing Industry Insight: Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong preference for familiarity with aluminum products or aluminum coil manufacturing.
Functional & Technical Acumen: Strong grasp of Oracle configurations and setups with the ability to translate complex business requirements into optimal Oracle solutions.
Project Methodology: Skilled in standard project management methodologies (Waterfall Agile) including the use of tools for planning tracking and issue resolution.
Business Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles financial processes and operational workflows in a manufacturing setting.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
ProblemSolving: Sharp analytical and problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues and delivering innovative solutions.
