About the Role:

The Senior Industry Relations and Outreach Lead plays a critical role in leading the growth of our corporate partnerships driving strategic engagements with toptier agencies and brands and nurturing relationships that enhance the career development of our students. This role demands expertise in Career Services Corporate Relations and Talent Partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Business Development:

    • Cultivate and manage partnerships to achieve set targets strengthening both new and existing relationships.
    • Lead outreach initiatives to onboard top agencies and brands expanding recruitment opportunities across various industries in India and globally.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement & Partner Acquisition:

    • Manage engagements with teams HR professionals senior executives and business unit heads across agencies digital advertising agencies brands and various industries.
    • Build a network to onboard top agencies and brands fostering recruitment activities and driving outreach both within India and internationally.
  3. Relationship Building Student and Employer Engagement:

    • Maintain employer relationships to understand hiring needs and promote student opportunities.
    • Collect employer feedback to improve the quality of placement processes.
    • Establish and maintain highlevel connections across industries to further enhance student placement prospects.
    • Collaborate with industry leaders to plan and execute job fairs networking events workshops and masterclasses that provide students with direct connections to potential employers.
  4. Job Placement Student Interaction & Career Mentorship:

    • Engage with students to understand their career aspirations and goals providing mentorship and career mapping to guide them toward desired outcomes.
    • Assist students in matching their profiles with suitable job opportunities and facilitate the placement process.
    • Provide guidance to students on improving resumes cover letters and portfolios for enhanced interview prospects.
    • Offer advice and guidance on job and internship openings application procedures and interview techniques.
  5. Database Management & Reporting:

    • Maintain an organized database of job listings employer contacts and student profiles.
    • Ensure accurate and uptodate records of student placements to measure the effectiveness of the placement program.
    • Communicate datadriven insights with clarity ensuring reports are accurate insightful and easily understandable.




Requirements

Who You Are:

MustHave:

  • 35 years of work experience in reputed BSchools or educational institutions specifically in the placement division.
  • Graduate from any stream.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional networking and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Proficiency in corporate business development account management and partnership acquisition.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Analytical abilities to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Passion for mentoring and guiding students in their career development.

Location Preference:

  • Mumbai residents will be given preference.


Experience and Qualifications: Previous work experience of at least 1-4 years in reputed B-Schools or educational institutions, specifically in the placement division. Graduate from any stream. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional networking skills. Proficiency in corporate business development, account management, and partnership acquisition. Negotiation skills. Analytical ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies. Proficiency in Google Workspace.
