Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team in Sanath Nagar Hyderabad. In this role you will collaborate closely with the director and production team to transform ideas into visually engaging content. Your expertise in editing storytelling and the use of digital tools will be essential in delivering highquality videos that resonate with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director and production team to align on project vision and requirements.
- Edit and manipulate video footage to create seamless and engaging final products.
- Analyze shooting scripts and raw material to craft a shot decision list based on scene value and continuity.
- Organize and trim footage segments to create cohesive sequences.
- Incorporate music dialogues graphics and effects to enhance visual storytelling.
- Deliver rough and final cuts of video projects that meet creative and technical standards.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions across scenes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during production and postproduction processes.
- Stay updated on the latest editing technologies and industry trends to optimize workflows.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor supported by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in digital editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
- Solid understanding of timing motivation and continuity in video editing.
- Experience with special effects 3D editing and compositing techniques is an advantage.
- A creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong ability to translate ideas into visually compelling projects.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio. Proficiency in digital editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. Solid understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in video editing. Experience with special effects, 3D editing, and compositing techniques is an advantage.
