Job Description

Reporting to: Branch Manager Uganda

  • Support existing businesses and development of new businesses / clients.

  • Continuously review the market for new business opportunities and activities and generate profitable business prepositions. Identify new services which can be offered in the Uganda market

  • Focus on the development of Key freight forwarding products: Ocean Freight / Air Freight and LCL. A clear guideline will be provided on which product the candidate needs to focus on based on competency.

  • Keep track of competitors activities plans and strategies.

  • Meet and exceed monthly GP sales targets.

  • Identify develop and improve commercial processes including coordination with internal & external stakeholders

  • Promote ECU Digital platform to the customers.

  • Identify and pursue cross selling opportunities.

  • Through structured approach expand the customer base without losing existing business. Proactively meet existing and new customers. Expected weekly customer sales visits: 18.

  • Collect outstanding and control DSO.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or any business related.

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales role in the logistics industry.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and other CRM tools.

  • Excellent communication skills.
