Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Joinery Drafter with expertise in Pytha and CNC operations to produce detailed shop drawings and manufacturing plans. The role involves creating accurate cutting lists comprehensive installation drawings and coordinating with CNC machines using Alphacam nesting software. The ideal candidate will ensure precise documentation for both client review and production contributing to seamless manufacturing and installation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed joinery shop drawings in Pytha for client review and manufacturing purposes.
- Amend and update shop drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Develop precise cutting lists for manufacturing.
- Produce comprehensive manufacturing and installation drawings.
- Prepare and send finalized Pytha drawings to CNC machines for production via Alphacam nesting software.
- Collaborate with the production team to address technical queries and ensure accuracy in manufacturing.
- Maintain documentation and drawing records to ensure consistency and traceability.
- Optimize manufacturing processes by integrating efficient design practices.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills Needed:
- Bachelor s degree or certification in Architecture Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in joinery drafting with expertise in Pytha.
- Proficiency in CNC machine operation with Alphacam experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of joinery design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and cutting lists with high accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in joinery manufacturing.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM6:00 PM (AEST) 7:00 AM4:00 PM (PH Time)

Job Summary: The Kitchen/Joinery Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for kitchen and joinery projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in estimating, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in industry-specific software. Key Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for kitchen and joinery projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements. Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine scope and requirements. Software Proficiency: Utilize Cabinet Vision for designing and estimating cabinetry and joinery components. Manage project data and workflows using Jobman v2. Use Microsoft Excel for cost calculations, data analysis, and reporting. Collaboration: Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure estimates are accurate and align with project goals. Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing. Procuring materials and ordering. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation. Assist in developing and refining estimation processes and templates. Client Interaction: Provide professional guidance and support to clients throughout the estimation process. Address client inquiries and adjust estimates as necessary to meet their needs. Requirements/Skills Needed: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial design, preferably in the digital signage or related industry. Proficiency in SolidWorks, with previous experience in sheet metal functions highly favoured, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication techniques, including sheet metal and extrusion. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
