Primary Responsibilities
Planning and Organising :
Contributes to the strategy and planning activities of the sales functions
- Monitors and supervise the gathering of marketing statistics current market trends and implement strategies according to statistical analysis.
- To identify and fix yearly amount of accounts to be serviced by each sales persons including him/herself. This amount of accounts serviced is variable by market segment and by year and should be reviewed at the beginning of each year with Sr. Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Continually research and analyze opportunities for new business.
- Develop a sales action plan to the offices and review and report on them to the DOSM monthly.
- Leads in the preparation of the yearly Marketing Plan.
- Management & Leadership of the Sales Team
- The Assistant Director of Sales (ADOS) is the principal sales and administrative executive in the assigned areas responsibilities and is responsible for the overall operation and staff in Sales office in Bangkok.
- Should be in close relation with AccorHotels Asia head office in Bangkok for all administrative issues to ensure all Accorhotels policies are duly implemented and strictly followed. Those policies should be in respect and in regards of the Laos regulations and laws.
- Motivating and supporting the sales and administrative staff to attain and exceed assigned National and Key Accounts productivity.
- Monitors and supervises his/her teams production and activities.
- Ensure that all sales reports are submitted on a timely basis with market share information monthly budget reconciliation YTD sales results to goals.
- Monitors and controls the database and ensure its regular update & maintenance.
- In the absence of Sr. DOSM DOS to chairs weekly meeting disseminates important issues and information to the sales staff.
Qualifications :
- At least 1 year International experience as Director of Sales or in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment with the ability to understand global markets that affect the business of the hotel.
- Minimum of 3 years experience and track record in a sales management.
- Proven leadership capability to develop motivate and drive team members.
- Proof of previous sales success.
