Job Description

Our client is a fastgrowing fintech company focused on providing seamless payment solutions to businesses around the globe. They are dedicated to delivering highquality customer experiences and they are looking for a Product Owner to drive the development of our client their inhouse platform built to replace their legacy products and scale as a core payment solution.


Role Overview

They are seeking an experienced and forwardthinking Product Owner to lead the development of our client. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SaaS platforms payment solutions and the challenges involved in building a highly scalable and secure platform. This individual will collaborate with engineering product and operations teams to ensure that our clients platform delivers features that meet the needs of our customers while being flexible scalable and secure.


Job Type: Full time/Permanent

Workplace: Hybrid


Requirements

  • 3 years of proven experience working in a similar role.
  • SaaS Platform Development Proven experience in managing the development and scaling of SaaS platforms.
  • Payment Systems Knowledge Familiarity with payment systems and the specific requirements for building payment platforms.
  • Agile Methodology Proficiency in Agile frameworks especially Scrum and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Technical Understanding Experience working closely with engineering teams to design scalable highperformance systems.
  • Stakeholder Management Strong ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Roadmap Management Ability to define and prioritise a product roadmap that aligns with business and customer needs.
  • ProblemSolving Strong analytical skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions and prioritise features that align with business goals.
  • UserCentered Design Ability to gather insights from users and stakeholders to ensure the product meets their needs.
  • Communication Skills Excellent communication skills to articulate the product vision goals and requirements clearly to engineering design and business teams.

  • Own the clients Platform Roadmap: Define and prioritise the platforms features and functionality ensuring alignment with business goals customer needs and market trends.
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Drive the vision for our clients platform defining how it will evolve to replace legacy systems and meet future customer requirements.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering design and other internal teams to ensure the platform is developed in line with customer feedback and business goals.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain a wellprioritized product backlog continuously refining it based on customer feedback market conditions and business strategy.
  • User Story Creation: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria that define platform features focusing on delivering measurable value for customers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and buyin for the platforms direction vision and roadmap.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the platform is built to the highest standards of usability security and scalability in close collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track the performance of the platform ensuring all features meet user needs and resolve issues that may arise during and after implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze feedback from users and stakeholders iterating on the platform to enhance functionality optimise performance and improve the overall customer experience.
