Job Description
Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer Substation
Location: St Louis MO (Onsite)
Type: Fulltime
Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support substation design projects. This hybrid role requires proximity to St. Louis MO.
Key Responsibilities:
Design steel structures foundations and concrete elements for substations.
Develop specifications cost estimates proposals and schedules.
Perform calculations QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with codes.
Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and mentor team members.
Support project reporting proposal development and adhere to client standards.
Occasional travel required.
Qualifications:
BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering.
8 years of structural engineering experience in the United States.
FE Exam completion (PE preferred).
Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g. Risa3D STAAD Pro).
Strong technical organizational and communication skills.
U.S. work authorization required.
Preferred:
10 years of experience seismic design expertise and familiarity with RISA MathCAD LPile.
PE license and ability to manage budgets and schedules.
