Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview:
Lawson Enterprises is partnering with a multidisciplinary planning and design firm to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer in Memphis Tennessee. This role requires a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee with strong electrical design experience and project management expertise in design/build projects.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in leading electrical engineering projects collaborating with architects planners and other engineers to deliver highquality innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering design solutions for a variety of projects.
- Manage and assist with all phases of electrical engineering projects including design development documentation and construction coordination.
- Work closely with design teams and project managers to ensure seamless integration of design intent into construction documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with client requirements industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee and review P&IDs general arrangement drawings electrical schematics and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Work directly with clients contractors and regulatory agencies to develop strong professional relationships.
- Support construction teams by responding to RFIs reviewing submittals resolving field issues and conducting site visits.
- Maintain project documentation including meeting notes financial records schedules and client communications.
- Participate in project planning budgeting and scheduling to optimize project efficiency.
- Engage in marketing and business development including preparing project proposals and providing technical expertise.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Tennessee (or ability to obtain multistate licensure).
- 1015 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in design/build projects.
- Project management experience with the ability to lead teams and ensure project success.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles construction documents and building systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated client interaction experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with architects designers and engineers across multiple disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED Accreditation (a plus).
- Experience with largescale electrical projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
