Associate Electrical Engineer
Location: Los Angeles San Diego San Francisco or Seattle CA (Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to apply technical expertise in building services systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering leadership and project management with experience in the construction and building services industry.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients architects and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative electrical solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to lead projects mentor junior engineers and contribute to cuttingedge developments in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients architects and engineering teams to develop coordinated electrical design solutions.
  • Produce detailed design drawings electronic models specifications and written reports.
  • Coordinate with utility companies and obtain necessary electrical permit approvals.
  • Organize and develop technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Manage and verify the quality of work completed by project engineers and technicians.
  • Take responsibility for conceptual and detailed engineering design.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor financial performance of projects and ensure costeffective solutions.
  • Mentor junior electrical engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to local state and national building codes.
  • Maintain workload oversight manage deadlines and proactively balance resources.

Required Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in electrical engineering design within the building services and construction industry.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with projects in sectors such as Higher Education Museums Commercial Transportation Hubs and Stadiums.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with electrical fault analysis and lighting design software.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to propose multiple solutions to clients.
  • Excellent clientfacing and communication skills including experience presenting technical solutions to highlevel stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing technical reports for client delivery.
  • Strong leadership and ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or in progress).
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred.
