Job Description
We re seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our transformative journey in the accounting and fintech space. In this parttime role you ll manage the financial intricacies of multiple business entities while contributing to the development of nextgeneration accounting solutions. Responsibilities
- Oversee bookkeeping and accounting for multiple legal entities including S Corps and LLCs ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP standards
- Manage US taxrelated work for various business structures staying current with evolving regulations
- Play a key role in the financial aspects of acquiring and integrating a small accounting firm
- Collaborate with our software development team to create and implement custom accounting solutions
- Provide strategic financial insights and reports to guide critical business decisions
- Ensure strict compliance with US tax laws and regulations across all business operations
- Adapt and optimize accounting processes as the company scales and introduces new technologies
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on USbased companies and tax regulations
- Indepth knowledge of US GAAP tax laws and bookkeeping practices for various business structures
- Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms and eagerness to learn new systems
- Demonstrated experience managing finances for S Corps LLCs and holding company structures
- Sharp analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage books for several entities simultaneously
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with evolving technologies and custom software systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts to nonfinance team members
