Administrative Assistant (Medical)
An exciting open role with our client in the insurance industry is available for a detailoriented and proactive individual. This position based in Windsor involves providing essential administrative support to a team of Disability Case Managers while fostering strong service relationships with clients. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to succeed in a dynamic fastpaced environment.

Hourly salary of $18.08 to $20.21 based on experience.
14month contract (Maternity leave coverage).
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
Complete all diary items.
Support Disability Case Managers with various tasks.
Set up Short & LongTerm Disability WSIB and Life claims within tight deadlines.
Provide customer service via phone email and in person.
Handle requests for file copies.
Schedule appointments with medical professionals.
Manage financial records and process invoice payments.
Send written communications to stakeholders.
Maintain verbal and written contact with clients employers and service providers.
Perform general office administration duties as needed.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail including group inboxes.
What you will need to succeed:
Postsecondary education (college or university level) is an asset.
2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Word Excel).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in highvolume environments.
Adaptable and flexible in a fastpaced setting.
Quick learner who is proactive and takes initiative.
Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
Strong interpersonal skills including tact diplomacy and negotiation abilities.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
