Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Production Tech 1 to join our team in Newark United States. As a key member of our production team you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production equipment ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
- Load and unload materials into assigned machines
- Perform basic machine setup including adjusting components and troubleshooting as needed
- Respond to indicator lights and display screens taking appropriate action to resolve issues
- Maintain quality standards and meet production goals
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist in inventory management and material handling
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement
- Complete necessary documentation and reports related to production activities
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- 01 year of related production experience (preferred)
- Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
- Physical stamina to stand walk and lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the shift
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Basic understanding of production processes and quality control (preferred)
