Production Planner Direct Hire Opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyze data from our ERP and other systems to create current and forecasted needs; review historical data to set part parameters; establish production standards for work center scheduling.
- Create update and maintain schedules for multiple departments
- Create jobs and priorities based on the current and projected needs of the company
- Analyze inventory levels across multiple phases of manufacturing to understand priority needs and job sizes
- Communicate scheduling conflicts with management throughout the production process
- Direct and assist the Production Control Coordinators and Material Handlers with production priorities.
- Utilize Epicor to track the status of current jobs and update the production team with any discrepancies during the production process.
Requirements
- Minimum 2yrs manufacturing planning experience in an MRP supported environment.
- Some college and CPIM or other relevant certification preferred.
- A background in logistics inventory control or purchasing is beneficial.
- Selfstarter and comfortable working in a team or independently in a fastpaced manufacturing environment where priorities sometimes fluctuate.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including strong Excel experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills written and verbal communication skills and organizational skillsAbility to quickly learn new computer software
