Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Code with Excellence: Write robust efficient code primarily in Ruby on Rails along with unit tests to meet our ambitious project goals.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with clients users and your teammates to define and refine both functional and nonfunctional requirements ensuring we deliver solutions that truly resonate.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Quickly grasp our clients industries and challenges stepping into an advisory role to propose effective solutions.
- Architect Solutions: Design and architect technical solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Mentor and Guide: Share your expertise by providing mentorship to team members helping them grow and succeed.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Team up with product managers designers and QA engineers to drive successful project delivery and foster a culture of teamwork.
- Own the Quality: Take responsibility for the technical quality of projects ensuring thorough code reviews and timely resolutions of any issues.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep an eye on emerging technologies proactively identifying opportunities for innovation that enhance our capabilities.
- Communicate Clearly: Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in everything you do.
Requirements
What We re Looking For:
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 35 years of handson experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript (Typescript Coffeescript) with a familiarity of frameworks like Angular.
- Solid experience with databases including PostgreSQL MongoDB and Redis.
- Strong skills in GIT and familiarity with AWS services (ECS EC2 S3 Route 53 SQS SNS SES etc.).
- A proactive independent and collaborative mindset driven and eager to learn.
- Experience with containerization (Docker CircleCI) and frameworks like AngularJs and Angular is a plus.
