Job Overview:
The SEO Content Editor will be responsible for editing optimizing and strategizing content to improve its visibility and ranking on search engines. This role combines strong editorial skills with a deep understanding of SEO principles ensuring that all content meets our quality standards while effectively reaching our target audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Editing: Review and edit articles blogs web pages and other content types for clarity grammar and style while ensuring adherence to the brand voice.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices including keyword research onpage optimization and meta description writing to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and refine content strategies based on keyword research audience insights and industry trends.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software to assess effectiveness and make datadriven recommendations for improvements.
- FactChecking: Ensure accuracy and credibility by verifying information statistics and sources used in content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with writers marketers and designers to provide constructive feedback and guide them in creating SEOfriendly content.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends algorithm updates and best practices to continually enhance our content strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in content editing with a strong focus on SEO preferably in a digital marketing environment.
- Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Indepth knowledge of SEO principles tools (e.g. Google Analytics SEMrush Moz) and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
