Job Description
Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support a rapidly expanding Digital Marketing and IT consultancy company based in Kuala Lumpur.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Analyze network performance resolve complex network problem and optimize network architecture
- Implement ways to deal with web attacks and security issues like DDOS attacks and penetration.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery activities
- Deliver continuous improvement & maintenance of the cloud environment
- Actively monitor the usage patterns of the suite of applications and preemptively identify abnormal behaviors and respond accordingly
- Work closely with clients and application teams to advise on best practices and optimal cloudbased architecture for their needs
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science or relevant field
- Strong understanding of cloud computing including the various cloud deployment models cloud service models and cloud deployment architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Experience with other Chinabased solutions such as Tencent Cloud Alibaba Cloud and Huawei Cloud would be advantageous
- Experience with AWSs Auto Scaling and Load Balancing will be an added advantage
- Familiar with Linux commands Certification in Linux Server will be an added advantage(eg: Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux)
- Experience with scripting and automation tools able to use the shell script
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software hardware and networking protocols
- Selfdriven and perform duties and responsibilities independently with minimum supervision
- Curiousminded proactive and willing to learn new technology
