Our client is in the manufacturing of industrial parts headquarted in Europe. Based in Singapore the primary objective of this role is to facilitate process optimization and production fulfillment manage project scheduling and monitoring of coordination and ensure regulatory compliance. The key responsibility of the Senior Project Engineer role is to set up and maintain a new manufacturing plant facility from initial design through to production startup.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the establishment of the manufacturing plant in line with project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure the availability of all necessary infrastructure facilities equipment and resources for smooth operations.
- Manage and drive process optimization initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure production demands are met efficiently optimizing workflow and automation processes.
- Review project plans and specifications to develop detailed project schedules.
- Determine time requirements and sequence project elements to ensure timely completion.
- Track project progress against milestones and schedules.
- Coordinate activities among quality assurance engineering and production teams to align with project goals.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures rules and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of proven experience in project management preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
- Successful track record in managing projects from initiation to completion including plant setup and production processes.
- Experience with global projects is an advantage.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent understanding of project planning scheduling and execution.
- Knowledge of building and facility safety protocols and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide crossfunctional teams.
- Proactive problemsolving aptitude with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
