Job Description
Our client a renowned food importation and distribution company in Malta is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver. The role involves ensuring the safe timely and efficient delivery of a variety of food products including chilled dry and frozen items to various clients such as supermarkets restaurants and hotels across Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and ensure timely deliveries to customers.
- Load and unload products ensuring they are handled with care.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain communication with the logistics team to update on delivery status.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any deliveryrelated issues.
- Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations during delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers C license.
- Experience in delivery or logistics.
- Familiarity with Maltas road network.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is a plus.
