Job Description

Assistant Restaurant Manager FullService Dining Multiple locations: Nassau and Suffolk Counties NY
Compensation: $58000 $70000 base salary

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
  • Lead and inspire team members to deliver outstanding service.
  • Train mentor and motivate staff to achieve highperformance standards.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Oversee inventory management and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Analyze financial metrics (sales labor inventory) to drive profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health/safety regulations.
  • Optimize staff schedules to balance service quality and labor costs.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and community outreach to enhance customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an assistant management role within a fullservice restaurant.
  • Stability: No more than two employers in the last five years or three in the last nine (exceptions made for restaurant closures/sales).
  • Strong leadership organizational and teambuilding skills.
  • Exceptional communication and problemsolving abilities.
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and inventory management.
  • Selfmotivated with a customerfocused approach.
  • Ability to engage with the local community to drive sales and build relationships.
