Job Description

Seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a growing mutlistate food production company.

The ideal candidate has 3 years account receivable experience ideally within a manufacturing environment. Must know deductions and is proficient in QuickBooks or Microsoft Dynamics. You are resourceful and have a curious mind to investigate issues.

What you will do:

Prepare post verify and record customer payments

Review accounts on a weekly basis to assess aging and pursue collection of funds

Research customer deductions and verify there accuracy

Update and maintain customer master files

Research invoice discrepancies (price quantity other) with appropriate functional team member

Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

Meet monthly close deadlines

Handle customer collections record payments and inquiries

Requirements

Knowledge of accounting software ideally QuickBooks Fishbowl and/or Microsoft Dynamics

Prior food or beverage sector or manufacturing experience highly preferred

Experience with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook

Strong attention to detail

Positive and energetic attitude

High sense of urgency

Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
