Ready to take the reins of cuttingedge audiovisual projects An exciting opportunity awaits as an Audiovisual Project Manager with one of the industrys premier Commercial Audio Visual Integrators! Lead the charge in bringing AV dreams to life overseeing the implementation and execution of dynamic projects.
They are also one of the largest Security Integrators in U.S. Dive into the forefront of AV innovation where youll learn and improve the technical execution of dynamic projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for overseeing the Installation department for the local market to ensure all jobs are completed with optimal results in a timely and cost effective manner
- Ensures a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external clients by supporting the organization s strategic goals while constantly measuring processes/procedures to improve the overall profitability of operations
- Manage all phases of AV installations/projects including budgetary requirements
- May be responsible for direct supervision of field teams and expected to motivate praise mentor and coach on performance issues
- Manage project scheduling and identify and solve issues that will impact the project and schedule
- Provide regular project updates/communication with Clients Sales and Operations
- Oversee and responsible for coordination of metrics/completion/updates of all installation projects
- Participate in contract process and project administration when needed/required
- Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met including close out documentation and punch list items
- Attend construction meetings
- Perform preinstallation site surveys
- Maintain and authorize/complete material stock/order
- Quality control/check on finished product/projects including testing
- Post project walkthrough with client communicating system performance to the customer
- Possible assistance with actual installation of products/services when needed
- Assist with product returns and change order process
- Help define and work with management on AV installation best practices and refine associated procedures templates tools and documentation
- Assuring field team is adhering to all safety guidelines of the Company and Customer requirements
Requirements
- 5 years of installation and field experience.
- 2 years experience managing large highprofile projects and crews.
- Have basic accounting principles account receivables and payables.
- Adept at reading blueprints and associated building information.
- Ability to rapidly understand business objectives and combine them with a deep understanding of project management to create sell and drive effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers across all departments.
- Understanding of customer needs; excellent communication and followthrough necessary to satisfy customer requests.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with a demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time on budget and to customer satisfaction.
- Leader who is able to align direct motivate and grow teams and clients.
Technical certifications or training in security systems, electronics, or related fields preferred. Knowledge of security system components and installation procedures. Proficiency in cabling installation and termination. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and testing instruments. Attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical fitness for installation tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in various environments. Preferred Knowledge in: Axis Communications Alarm.com Genetec Liftmaster Access Control PDK DMP
Education
