Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst for a 3 to 6month data cleaning and standardization project at our client in Vernon CA. This project focuses on the cleanup of data dimensions of product data. Multiple vendors supply descriptive data of their products in a variety of formats that need to be standardized normalized and loaded into the companys ERP system tables to improve the companys data quality and analytics capabilities. The ERP system is Infor based on Postgres. Other databases are based on Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Dimension Cleanup: Review update refine & standardize product SKUs and attributes such as material types color usage specifications sizing pricing weights & measures etc.
  • Vendor Data Classification: Standardize vendor classifications based on criteria such as certifications location reliability scores and specialization areas.
  • Quality Assurance and Process Implementation: Identify and document outstanding issues missing information new part numbers and areas requiring attention. Develop and implement standards (SOPs) for data handling and management to ensure continued and consistent data across all systems
  • CrossSystem Alignment: Ensure that all updated dimensions and attributes are standardized and synchronized across the companys ERP CRM and inventory management systems for consistency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including marketing purchasing and operations to understand identify and standardize required data
  • Investigation: Investigate issues related to SKU setup attributes accuracy and pricing discrepancies.
  • Technical: Utilize SQL and advanced Excel skills for data analysis reporting and efficient database management.
  • Implementation: Build repeatable data ingestion processes using ETL tools.
Qualifications:
  • BA in Information Technology CS IT or a similar major.
  • 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Experience with Product Master data dimensions in ERP systems i.e. an Amazon Store.
  • Experience with database management including item master and product data management required.
  • Experience accurately measuring and recording product weights and dimensions for efficient shipping cost calculation
  • Proficiency in SQL advanced Excel ERP systems (Infor Postgres) and WMS (MS SQL Server).
  • Proficient in SQL Stored Procedures MS SSIS or similar ETL toolsets.
  • Strong ability to identify and document critical issues and areas for improvement within the database.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively share important information with relevant teams and departments.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations and experience with archiving product functionality preferred
  • Proficiency in handling complex data uploads and database maintenance for site developments preferred

This is a contract position as a W2hire by Equifier paid hourly approx. 40/hours a week 36 months.

Initially 100% onsite in Vernon CA. Some remote flexibility later in the project.

Candidates need to be local from day one.
