Job Description
Job Title: Guidewire Developer
Location: Canada (Onsite)
Job Type: Fulltime
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Developer you will play a crucial role in the design development and implementation of Guidewire applications. This is a remote position based in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts product owners and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Design and implement Guidewire solutions based on business needs.
- Customize and configure Guidewire applications to meet specific project requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other systems and thirdparty applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Guidewire applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software solutions.
- Stay updated on Guidewire platform updates and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter ClaimCenter or BillingCenter.
- Strong knowledge of Java and objectoriented programming.
- Experience with Gosu programming language is a plus.
- Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing Guidewire integrations.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Guidewire certification is desirable.
