Job Description

As a Remote Payroll Processor you will be in charge of processing weekly employee check bills and overseeing all elements of payroll operations. You will work remotely as part of a team to guarantee that our employees payroll is processed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail excellent organizational abilities and a full understanding of payroll processing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and timely process weekly employee payroll.
Calculate and enter hours worked overtime pay bonuses and benefit deductions.
Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure its accuracy.
Maintain payroll reports and records for audit purposes.
Address any payrollrelated questions or concerns from employees.
Keep up to current on federal state and local payroll regulations and compliance needs.
Collaborate with the HR and finance teams to guarantee payroll accuracy and consistency.
Process payroll for new hiring terminations and personnel modifications.
Assist with yearend payroll activities such as tax filing and W2 processing.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of payroll data at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or a related function.
A thorough understanding of payroll processing methods and best practices.
A thorough awareness of federal state and local payroll requirements.
Proficient with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Superior attention to detail and correctness.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
An associate or bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related subject is preferred.
