Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the US teams to develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and maximize cash flow.
- Evaluate and approve credit applications assessing the creditworthiness of customers based on financial statements credit reports and other relevant data.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections of outstanding invoices.
- Oversee the management of delinquent accounts working with customers to resolve payment issues and setting up payment plans as needed.
- Prepare regular reports on credit and collections activity providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead mentor and develop a team of credit analysts providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support business objectives and ensure alignment of credit policies with company goals.
- Conduct credit reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers credit agencies and financial institutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in credit management.
- Stay updated on industry trends economic conditions and regulatory changes affecting credit management practices.
