Job Description
ERP SAVVY are seeking an experienced Applet Lead Developer with a strong background in credit card technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java Card programming and a deep understanding of smart card standards and secure communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applets for secure elements (SEs) using Java Card.
- Manage the lifecycle of applets including installation personalization and secure communication.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 7816 (contact cards) and ISO/IEC 14443 (contactless cards) protocols.
- Utilize GlobalPlatform APIs for applet lifecycle management and secure communication with host systems.
- Implement and troubleshoot NFC communication standards and data exchange protocols.
- Apply cryptographic techniques for secure transactions including symmetric and asymmetric encryption hashing and key management.
- Ensure applets meet EMV transaction protocols for payment cards.
- Collaborate with iOS developers to integrate Core NFC for secure NFC transactions.
- Use SE debugging tools such as GlobalPlatform Pro card emulators and hardware simulators for testing and debugging.
- Adhere to security standards including PCI DSS and EMVCo certification requirements.
- Implement tokenization technologies (e.g. MDES VTS).
- Understand and integrate XPays wallets.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Java Card programming and applet development for Applet Lead Developer.
- Strong knowledge of smart card standards and secure communication protocols.
- Expertise in cryptography and secure transaction management.
- Experience with NFC protocols and iOS development for secure NFC transactions.
- Proficiency with SE debugging tools and security standards.
