Sr. Android Developer
Hybrid Kansas City
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 8 years of expertise in designing building and maintaining high performance mobile applications to join our dynamic team. In this role you will play a key part in developing a cuttingedge mobile applications tsilored to meet the need of leading telecom provider. You will collaborate with the cross function teams to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development : Build and maintain robustscalable and high quality Anroid Application aligned with business objective an user needs.
Feature Implementation : Develop new feature Optimize existing functionalities and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
UI/UX Collaboration: work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless and engaging user experience.
Performance Optimization : Identify bottleneck and fix bugs to ensure application performance quality responsiveness.
Integration : Implement APIS SDKs and other third party tools essential for telecom related services.
Code Quality : Write Clean Maintainable and well documented code adhering to industry best practices.
Agile Methodology : Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning Standups retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features
Testing : Ensure comprehensive testing including unit testing integration testing and debugging to maintain application stability.
Collaboration : Liasie with product managers backend developers QA engineers
Security Compliance : Ensure the application adheres to telecom and industry specific security standards.
Required Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum 8 years of handson Android development experience
Technical Skills :
- Proficient in Kotlin java and Android
- Expertise in Android SDK Jetpack Libraries and MVVM /MVP architecture patterns
- Experience with Restful API S Graph QL or WebSocket integrations.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks(e.g. Dagger Hilt)
- Proficient in Git and version control systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Knowledgeof telecom specific protocols and services (eg. VOIP messaging or billing integration) is a plus.
- Problem Solving : Ability to debug complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Testing : Hands on experience with testing frameworks such as Junit Expresso or Mockito
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
- Teamwork : Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative agile development environment
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with telecom applications or largescale mobile applications
- Knowledge of network optimization or largescale mobile applications
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and tolls for user behavior tracking
- Contribution to opensource android projects
- certification in Android development or related technologies.
