This open role offers a yearlong contract opportunity to work on enhancing business process automation within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will focus on converting legacy tools into modern .NETbased solutions ensuring efficiency scalability and alignment with organizational objectives. What is in it for you:
Salaried: $50 to $57 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $66.66 per hour.
6month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm with a 30minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:
Reverseengineer legacy tools (VBA and Excelbased) to develop modern scalable .NET solutions.
Design develop and test new tools based on business requirements and architecture guidelines.
Create detailed documentation of workflows processes and application designs for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Implement structured modular and reusable code following best practices.
Conduct unit testing debugging and issue resolution to ensure highquality deliverables.
Collaborate with architects analysts and testing specialists to deliver reliable solutions.
Support applications in production including issue analysis and resolution.
Contribute to project planning estimating timelines and ensuring timely delivery of results.
Maintain compliance with SDLC and information security standards.
Propose continuous improvements to processes and practices.
What you will need to succeed:
University degree or college diploma in a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in full application development life cycle and systems integration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET C# and MSSQL (including Stored Procedures).
Experience with Excel Microsoft Access VBA and related programming.
Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt for technical and nontechnical audiences.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Customerfocused with a commitment to delivering results.
Knowledge of the financial or insurance industries particularly Group Benefits and Group Retirement products (asset).
Experience with Agile methodologies (asset).
Exposure to Pega Robotics or similar tools (asset).
Prior experience in a technical lead role (asset).
