Intake call notes
This role requires a deeper understanding of complex network environments trouble shooting skills and understanding different firewall tools like Palo Alto and Cisco. Someone who can be a point of escalation for a networking issue and be able to thoroughly explain to less senior team members what the issue was. They need to understand encryption from a troubleshooting perspective and figure out how to solve remote connectivity problems. This role has a customer facing component so someone who came up in Technical Support or has Customer Support experience would do really well with the customer facing aspect.
Solar created their own inhouse custom solution built on a Linux platform. It is not a typical firewall tool so having the understanding of Palo Alto Cisco etc. will help them learn it as there is a bit of training required when they first come in.
