Job Title: Financial Manager
Location: Kinshasa Democratic Republic of Congo
Industry: Mattress Manufacturing & Logistics
Overview:
Our client a mattress manufacturer and logistics company based in Kinshasa is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to provide strategic insights into the company s financial performance. This role goes beyond bookkeeping and reporting focusing on cost management profitability improvement and aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
o Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
o Provide actionable insights to support decisionmaking and highlight key trends.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts.
o Conduct variance analysis to monitor performance against targets.
3. Cost Management and Profitability:
o Identify and implement costsaving initiatives to enhance profitability.
o Analyze financial data to discover opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
4. Strategic Planning:
o Collaborate with the executive team to design and execute financial strategies that align with business goals.
o Provide financial guidance for business planning and decisionmaking.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
o Establish robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
6. Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
o Oversee recruitment and training to maintain a highperforming team.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. CPA CA ACCA).
5 10 years of relevant experience preferably in manufacturing or logistics industries.
Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost management and strategic planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
Excellent leadership analytical and communication skills.
