Job Overview:

We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced HR Payroll Specialist to join our team in Germany. In this role you will oversee and manage payroll processes while ensuring compliance with German labor laws. Your expertise in HR and payroll will contribute to a smooth and efficient employee compensation process. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in HR education and experience in payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Administration:

    • Manage the endtoend payroll process for employees including data entry calculation and reconciliation.
    • Ensure accuracy in processing salaries benefits bonuses deductions and taxes in compliance with German regulations.
    • Collaborate with external payroll providers when needed.
  • Compliance and Labor Law:

    • Maintain uptodate knowledge of German labor laws and tax regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including social security contributions and employee insurance.
    • Prepare and submit mandatory reports to tax authorities and other government bodies.
  • HR Administration Support:

    • Manage employee records related to payroll benefits and contracts.
    • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring accurate payroll setup and final settlements.
    • Provide guidance to employees on payrollrelated inquiries and HR policies.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement enhancements to payroll and HR systems.
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Nativelevel fluency in German (spoken and written).
    • B2level proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Education and Experience:

    • Degree or certification in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
    • Proven experience in payroll processing preferably in a German company.
    • Strong knowledge of German labor laws tax regulations and social security systems.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. DATEV SAP HR or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with HRIS or similar HR management tools is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills:

    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
