Job Description: Summer Economic Consulting Associate
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsdriven Summer Economic Consulting Associate to join our team for a 10 12 week internship program. As a Summer Associate you will play a critical role in supporting client projects by conducting economic analyses developing advanced models and delivering actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with senior consultants to solve complex business and policy challenges across various industries including finance healthcare technology and public policy. This internship provides an opportunity to deepen your economic expertise and gain handson experience in a dynamic consulting environment.
- Design and develop economic models forecasts and simulations to evaluate market trends policy impacts and strategic opportunities.
- Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses to support client projects and inform decisionmaking.
- Translate complex economic data into actionable insights and provide clear datadriven recommendations.
- Gather clean and analyze large datasets from public and proprietary sources to support project objectives.
- Create detailed reports dashboards and presentations that effectively communicate findings and strategies to clients.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and analysis to maintain highquality deliverables.
- Research and analyze the economic implications of policy changes regulatory developments and market dynamics.
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and assess the economic impact of external factors on clients industries.
- Conduct costbenefit analyses to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of proposed initiatives or policies.
- Collaborate with senior consultants to prepare clientfacing deliverables including presentations reports and executive summaries.
- Participate in client meetings workshops and strategy sessions contributing insights and supporting discussions.
- Track project progress and ensure that deliverables are aligned with client expectations and deadlines.
- Stay informed about emerging economic trends industry best practices and new analytical methodologies.
- Conduct research to support the development of internal knowledge resources tools and frameworks.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by assisting in the preparation of white papers case studies and presentations.
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Economics Finance Business Public Policy or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with coursework or experience in econometrics data analysis and policy analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical and econometric tools (e.g. Stata R Python or SAS).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Proactive selfmotivated and eager to learn in a fastpaced consulting environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about applying economic principles to solve realworld challenges.
