Job Description
My client is a leading manufacturer of highquality functional textiles for demanding applications operating internationally and continuously growing. To strengthen the production site in Serbia we are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Operations Manager (m/f/d) who values close collaboration with employees and strives to unlock their full potential.
Tasks
- OnSite Operations Management: Lead the entire production operation ensuring adherence to quality standards operational efficiency and delivery commitments.
- Team Engagement and Recruitment: Develop strategies to attract retain and engage talent fostering a supportive and motivated workforce for sustainable growth.
- Productivity Enhancement: Boost efficiency and profitability through process optimization clear goalsetting and smart resource allocation.
- Automation Leadership: Drive the implementation and improvement of automation technologies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Lean Transformation: Apply lean management principles to create faster more efficient and ergonomic workflows.
- Financial Oversight: Take responsibility for the plants economic performance ensuring financial targets are achieved and profitability is maximized.
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in a production environment ideally in textile manufacturing or a related industry.
- Indepth knowledge of lean management process optimization and automation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on improving operational performance through clear objectives and strategic actions.
- Strong leadership skills with a genuine interest in motivating and developing teams to achieve their best.
- Proven experience in recruiting building and fostering talent.
- Language skills: Proficiency in Serbian at a negotiation level and good command of English and/or German.
