Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Administrator with a strong background in containerization technologies to join our clients IT Infrastructure Design Services team. This role will focus on designing implementing and maintaining Kubernetesbased infrastructure solutions to support our growing operational needs. This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the U.S. and hold at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes Infrastructure: Design implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters managing resource provisioning configuration management and adhering to security best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize Kubernetes environments to ensure performance scalability and resource efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Kubernetesrelated issues including network connectivity storage problems and application failures.
- Automation: Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate Kubernetes operations reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of handson experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts such as pods services deployments stateful sets and storage.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash) for automation and configuration management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and their Kubernetes offerings.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work Location: This role will be performed onsite in Houston Texas.
