Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies for the region to achieve revenue targets and
growth objectives in line with the company's overall goals.
Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead a team of seasoned Area Sales Managers providing mentorship guidance and
support.
Foster a dynamic and resultsdriven culture ensuring alignment with company values
and goals.
Facilitate collaboration and open communication between the Area Managers and the
broader sales team to maximize regional performance.
Sales Performance & Monitoring:
Monitor sales team performance set KPIs and take necessary corrective measures to
ensure targets are met.
Track progress and report on sales metrics trends and forecasts to the Head of Sales.
Conduct regular reviews with Area Sales Managers to assess performance and ensure
customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
Manage and grow relationships with key corporate accounts and strategic partners.
Lead negotiations for highvalue contracts and ensure the satisfaction of key clients.
Handle escalations from Area Managers as needed providing solutions for complex
customer challenges.
Crossfunctional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing product development and operations teams to align
sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
Collaborate with technical support and service teams to ensure customer issues are
resolved promptly and productively.
3. Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering or a related field;
MBA is a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the construction
equipment or heavy machinery industry.
Proven track record of leading and managing successful sales
teams with experience in handling seniorlevel Area Managers.
Certifications/Licenses:
Special Skills: Fluency in English Kanada Telegu; knowledge of other regional
languages is a plus.
